What looked to be a well put together experience quickly crumpled in real time as players from the mid-90s discovered the horrible controls, distracting inconsistencies, and maddening foreground obstructions that made many fights impossible to take seriously. It featured animal characters such as Kendo Coyote who would duke it out every four years on the uncharted "Brutal Island." Kendo Coyote is a coyote who, as you'd clearly have guessed from his name, uses tae-kwon-do as his fighting style. As you'll quickly see, Brutal Paws of Fury wound up being a haphazardly strewn together fighting game that was, at best, a lame imitation of successful titles like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.
